Job description
The caregiver is responsible for the following:

Personal Care Assistance
-
Helping clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assisting with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices when needed.

Household Support
-
Performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, tidy environment.

Preparing and serving meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences.
-
Companionship
-
Engaging clients in conversation and recreational activities to reduce loneliness and improve emotional well-being.
-
Accompanying clients on errands, appointments, or social outings as needed.

Health and Safety Monitoring
-
Observing and reporting changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to supervisors or family members.

Ensuring clients follow prescribed medication schedules (under supervision if required by law).

Transportation Support
-
Providing safe transportation to appointments, errands, or community activities.
-
Communication and Advocacy
-
Keeping clear and accurate records of care provided, including daily logs.
-
Acting as a liaison between clients, family members, and healthcare professionals when necessary.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 18 years of age with reliable transportation, drivers license preferred
-
Ability to read, write and speak English
-
Must be able to pass Criminal Background, Driving Records Check and Company Administered Drug Screening test

Employees must have the physical ability, to lift, push and pull 50lbs
-
Current CPR certification (AHA or American Red Cross)

Negative TB/Chest X-ray Test Result
-
Current and valid CNA License or HHA/CNA Certification
